How do we become Distinguished Workplace Champions?
Every organization taking the Champion Pledge is required to create its own tailored Champions program to suit its specific needs. We are here to help with the process and encourage you to get creative and cut through the workplace noise! We are here every step of the way and will help you create an Action Plan.
What is an Action Plan?
The Action Plan is designed to be a starting point for your plans as a live, structured document that gives you the opportunity to develop your wellbeing strategy and using it as the foundation.
To achieve lasting change within your workplace or organization, its important to create a plan of tangible and measured activity that is embedded at the heart of your organizations commitment to the Champion Pledge. The Action Plan has 6 Core Standards 1-Produce, implement and communicate a mental health work plan 2-Develop mental health awareness among employees and or customers 3-Encourage open conversations about mental health support and resources available 4-Provide employees with good working conditions, ensure they have a healthy work life balance, and opportunities for development. 5-Promote effective people management through line managers and supervisors 6- Routinely monitor employee health and wellbeing.

We know that your day-to-day role might be demanding and time can be scarce. Every activity, big or small, is an important step towards changing how people think and act about mental health. That is why we are committed to helping you every step of the way.
* We are committed to helping you create an Action Plan that works specifically for your organization.
* We are committed to attending and Hosting your Champion Pledge Event. Note: The Pledge Event is a BIG Deal for your organization and staff, because you are letting them know how that your leadership and organization takes mental health and wellness seriously. Food, Fun, and Celebration !) * We are committed to providing resources and activities geared towards helping you provide information and awareness to your employees and or customers.
* We are committed to providing training opportunities for your supervisors and managers free of charge. * Your organization will be invited to learning, networking, and sharing events.
* We will provide you with an online forum to learn and share with other Workplace Champions. * We add your organization logo to our Distinguished Workplace Champion Board in our facility, Social Media, and On our Website with your written permission.
